Psychotherapy and counselling is not about giving advice, it provides a space where thoughts and feelings can be explored. Talking about your thoughts and feelings can help you to gain more clarity and find the tools to gain control over personal problems.
As an Integrative Psychotherapist & Counsellor I pay attention to the whole person; emotional, physical and spiritual. Together we can explore past experiences and how these impact on how you experience your life now. We can explore what drives and motivates you, consciously and unconsciously.
Integrative Psychotherapy does not emphasise a particular theory, but tailors the therapy to the individual, placing the client at the heart of the work. I see my role as helping to guide, being there alongside, supporting the individual to tap into powerful resources which can enable development and growth.
It is my belief that the therapeutic relationship is a powerful resource to help uncover and heal past hurts. The therapeutic process can lead to greater clarity; acceptance of self and the capacity to fully engage with self, life and others.
